BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of related experience in finance, accounting or other related analytical experience
2. Experience in business forecasting and spreadsheet modeling
3. Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
4. Ability and willingness to relocate as needed
5. Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items; strong analytical skills
6. Strong communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
7. Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail

9. Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads; understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth.

3. Ability to simplify financial processes and reports
4. Familiarity with Tableau, Quicksight, SQL, and other reporting tools.

JOB SUMMARY :
Amazon seeks to hire a Financial Analyst to be a key member of the India Operations Finance team. This position will be a critical business partner and will own the finance partnering for new businesses and special projects, financial reporting and planning and controllership initiatives. This includes the responsibility of financial metrics reporting, forecasting and analysis. The successful candidate will be analytical and with good communication skills and should have demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of high-growth business. The candidate should be comfortable driving deadlines among various teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process and ensure planning deadlines are maintained
2. Perform risk and opportunities variance analysis versus plan
3. Present ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to senior management
4. Develop and maintain key reporting metrics
5. Work with both corporate and local accounting teams to ensure consistent global recording and reporting of financials
